The Microsoft Edge Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) provides the technical security policies, requirements, and implementation details for applying security concepts to the Microsoft Edge web browser. Guidance for “Microsoft Edge Legacy”, the embedded version of Edge within a base Windows 10/Server operating system (OS) install, is contained within the associated OS STIGs. The guidance in this STIG is intended for “New Edge”, which is Chromium-based and installed as a separate package.
