The Microsoft Windows 10 Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) is published as a tool to improve the security of Department of Defense (DOD) information systems. This document is meant for use in conjunction with other applicable STIGs, such as, but not limited to, browsers, antivirus, and other desktop applications. The requirements discussed in this document are applicable to Windows 10 Enterprise. The majority will also apply to Windows 10 Professional; however, domain-joined systems have several requirements that can only be implemented with the Enterprise edition.
